What You’ll Do as Legal Counsel
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including management agreements, franchise agreements, lease agreements, and real estate transactions
- Provide strategic legal advice on corporate matters such as governance, deal structures, joint ventures, regulatory compliance, and business policies
- Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to manage legal risk while supporting business goals
- Ensure the accurate presentation of legal content in all documents
- Support and guide development and acquisition efforts with sound legal advice
- Obtain and organize relevant documents and evidence for legal review and business decision-making
- Stay current on legal trends and issues affecting the hospitality industry
What You’ll Bring
- J.D. or Master of Laws (LL.M) from an accredited institution
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Associate Attorney or in a similar legal role, preferably with exposure to hospitality, real estate, or commercial transactions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance legal precision with practical business advice
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
