What You’ll Do as Area General Manager
- Be Strategic: Hands-on strategic leader supporting multiple properties while empowering hotel teams to deliver service excellence and drive results.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and onboard General Managers and key leadership positions across your assigned properties.
- Performance Coaching: Guide hotel leaders through operational challenges, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Operational Oversight: Conduct regular audits of cleanliness, service standards, and hotel efficiency.
- Sales & Financial Accountability: Monitor KPIs and sales targets, identify trends, and implement action plans to ensure properties meet or exceed quarterly goals.
- Cost & Labor Optimization: Collaborate with GMs to implement strategies that streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Partner & Collaborator: Work closely with property leaders, ownership, and Prominence senior leadership to maintain alignment and success.
What You’ll Bring
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in a General Manager or multi-unit leadership role within hospitality.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and hold teams accountable while maintaining a positive, productive culture.
- Business Acumen: Strong knowledge of P&L, revenue management, labor efficiency, and guest service metrics.
- Communication & Organization: Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and time management skills.
- Personality: Energetic, motivated, and driven to deliver results while supporting people-first values.
- Flexibility to Travel: Ability to complete task force assignments out of state.
- Brand Experience: Hilton, Marriott, IHG preferred.
