What You’ll Do as Area Director of Sales 

  • Strategic Leadership: Prepare, develop, and execute strategic business plans to support the growth of Prominence Hospitality Group. 
  • Sales & Negotiation: Showcase your sales and negotiating skills to drive new business, secure partnerships, and influence potential buyers. 
  • Team Development: Train, coach, and mentor your team to ensure a challenging and rewarding environment that fosters full career development and personal growth. 
  • Collaboration: Partner with the General Manager to determine appropriate sales strategies across all market segments to maximize hotel revenues. 
  • Market Analysis: Evaluate market and sales trends to coordinate activities that increase revenue and market share through added business volume and increased rates. 
  • Positive Energy: Be a team player who works hard and has fun in a supportive, inclusive environment! 

What You’ll Bring 

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a combination of education and 3+ years of experience in hotel sales and marketing. 
  • Sales Experience: Commercial sales background and familiarity in revenue management and revenue management systems.
  • Communication Skills: Present with a high level of experience and professionalism, with solid verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and presentation skills with the ability to negotiate, sell, and influence effectively. 
  • Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrated emotional EQ, with the ability to remain comfortable and effective in high-pressure, goal-oriented situations.
